Kayaking and stand-up paddleboarding on the clear waters of the Tama River in Ome, Tokyo β inside Chichibu-Tama-Kai National Park in the Okutama area. The river is one minute on foot from our clubhouse, and we teach in small groups, from complete beginners to experienced paddlers.

WITH NATURE Canoe School runs kayak, canoe and SUP lessons on the Tama River in Ome, Tokyo β an hour from the city centre and inside Chichibu-Tama-Kai National Park, in the Okutama area. The water in front of the club is gentle, with a slightly faster chute just downstream, so there is room both to relax and to practise.
Choose a relaxed one-day kayak or SUP experience, or join the Kayak Club if you want to keep paddling as a hobby. We pick the right boat from a large fleet based on the river conditions and your experience β equally suited to a family's first time on the water and to serious skills practice.

Kayak Experience (one day)
A relaxed day on the Tama River. We choose your boat β from a stable tandem to something more responsive β based on your experience and the river that day.
SUP Experience (one day)
Stand up and walk on water. Find your balance while you have the clear water of a national park river almost to yourself.
